Jacqueline Abbott, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director:
Jacqueline earned her undergraduate degree at James Madison University and her Masters of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Not only is she the Chief Executive Officer, but she is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the mother of two young boys. Jacqueline has worked in the areas of children’s mental health and child welfare for 15 years.

Richard Salomone, Quality and Risk Management Director:
Rich earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Wesleyan University and his Masters of Arts in Health Sciences from Furman University. He has 11 years in quality/risk experience from behavioral and non-behavioral settings.

Darius Poitier, Director of Clinical Services:
Darius has over 15 years’ experience working in the social services industry. Darius has experience in administration, case management, clinical counseling, and substance abuse treatment. Originally from South Florida, he earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Lynn University as well as a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Barry University. Darius is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-CP) in South Carolina. Darius joined the clinical team as the Director of Clinical Services in 2018 and currently oversees the Clinical Department, Admissions, and Activity Therapy Department. When not at work, Darius enjoys spending time with family and drag racing.

Laurie Mead, Director of Nursing:
Laurie joined the leadership team in late 2018 as Director of Nursing. She brings 31 years’ experience in the healthcare field, with 27 of those years as a registered nurse. She has worked in behavioral health for 16 years and has 21 years’ experience in the pediatric and adolescent nursing field. Originally from Pembroke, Massachusetts, Laurie earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing and is currently a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Student. Laurie is a United States Army Veteran, being the first female Soldier in Korea to successfully complete and pass EMT certification as a US Army Combat Medic. She also co-authored a US Army Medic Refresher course for medics deployed to Desert Shield Desert Storm. Laurie is a wife and mother of 4 children and a grandmother to 2 children. While nursing is her passion, she also enjoys country music, spending time with her family, reading, and decorating.
